The event, hosted in Kazakhstan from September 8 to 13, celebrated the sports and traditions of nomadic cultures from around the world. However, due to budget reductions earlier this year, the closing ceremony will take place in a simplified format, with no extravagant displays or public attendance. Viewers can still follow the event live through major Kazakhstani TV channels.
Organizers also addressed rumors about ticket sales for the closing ceremony. They clarified that no tickets are being sold and warned that any such offers are fraudulent. “The closing ceremony is exclusively for participants, and no spectators will be admitted,” they stated.
Throughout the Games, athletes competed in 21 sports, and around 100 cultural events were hosted daily. Additionally, the National Museum recently wrapped up an international conference titled “Nomads: History, Knowledge, Lessons,” featuring experts from 12 countries.
