“This season, Shymbulak has prepared several new features for visitors, including new ski trails, additional relaxation areas, enhanced safety measures, and world-class events,” said the resort’s press office.
The press service also shared the schedule of sporting events planned for the winter season:
- December 7 – Official season opening with a festive program.
- January 4-11 – For the first time, Shymbulak will host the Junior World Ski Championships, organized by the International Ski Federation (FIS). Young athletes from around the world will showcase their skills in mogul and freestyle skiing.
- February 26 – March 2 – FIS World Cup Freestyle event.
- March 13-18 – Shymbulak Freeride Week Qualifier, part of the global freeride competition series. Experienced riders from around the world will compete in two- and three-star categories.
