Winners of the “Meikin Asia” International Music Contest Announced

The fourth edition of the “Meikin Asia” International Music Contest concluded with a grand gala in Cholpon-Ata, Kyrgyzstan, on the shores of Lake Issyk-Kul, from July 20–22, 2025. Young talents from the Turkic world and beyond competed in the event, where an international jury selected the winners.

The Grand Prix, along with an $8,000 cash prize, went to Maria-Diana Stynchulyasha of Romania for her outstanding stage presence and vocal performance.

The main prize (“Bas Zhulde”) was awarded to Urmat Satybaldiev from Kyrgyzstan, who impressed both the jury and the audience. He received a $6,000 award.

Second place went to three participants:

  • Vitaly Drob (Belarus)

  • Kamir Dyuysheev (Kyrgyzstan)

  • Kira Gogoladze (Russia)

Third place was awarded to:

  • Polina Taseva (North Macedonia)

  • Eje Ata (Türkiye)

  • Tulkin Tadzhiev (Uzbekistan)

A special highlight of the final evening was a performance by globally renowned Kazakh singer Dimash Kudaibergen. The inaugural Grand Prix winner returned as a guest artist and delivered an unforgettable show.

Throughout the competition, the jury focused on vocal ability, artistic expression, and stage performance. The festival’s concerts and activities drew strong public interest. Organizers confirmed plans to continue the event in the coming year.
