“There’s an important matter regarding the LRT. This year, we have completed the elevated section, and next year we will fully complete the construction phase of the project. We are already laying the first kilometers of the rail-beam structure near the new railway station, and this work will continue through the winter,” – stated Kasymbek.
The Mayor of Astana also outlined the estimated timeline for the arrival of LRT trains in the city.
“Next year, we plan that the first trains will arrive around September-October. It’s a significant project,” – added the mayor.
