How have Hotel Prices Changed in Turkey?

It reported that hotel accommodation prices have increased due to high inflation in this year.

According to the figures announced by TURKSTAT, in September, inflation increased by 3.08 percent compared to the previous month, 52.40 percent compared to December of the previous year, 83.45 percent compared to the same month of the previous year and 59.91 percent compared to the twelve -month averages.

The biggest price increase in September was in housing with 9.99 percent. It was followed by education with 6.99 percent, communication with 3.40 percent and various goods and services with 3.19 percent.

On an annual basis, the biggest price increase was experienced in transportation with 117.66 percent, followed by food and non-alcoholic beverages with 93.05 percent, household goods with 89.68 percent and housing with 84.67 percent.

How much have prices in hotels increased?

In restaurants and hotels, inflation increased by 2.43% compared to the previous month, by 55.4 percent compared to December of the previous year, by 81.34 percent compared to the same month of the previous year and by 61.85 percent compared to 12-month averages.

On the other hand, Inflation Research Group (ENAG) announced that monthly inflation was 5.3 percent and annual inflation was 186.27 percent.
