As of 9 a.m., the Republic of Kazakhstan has imposed restrictions on vehicular movement in six regions owing to adverse weather conditions, including snow, blizzards, high winds, and reduced visibility.

The limitations apply to all types of transportation on six key highways across the republic, as reported by Kazavtozhol.

The Zhetysu region faces limitations on a 100-kilometer portion of the “Usharal-Dostyk” highway, running from Koktuma station to Dostyk station.

In the Kostanay region, adverse weather conditions have led to restrictions on an 83-kilometer section of the “Zhezkazgan-Petropavlovsk” highway, from the Ulytau region border to Arkalyk.

Freight vehicles traveling through the Turkestan region are impacted by restrictions on a 106-kilometer segment of the “Zhizak-Gagarin-Zhetysay-Saryagash-Zhibekzholy” highway, spanning from Kyzylasker village to Chernyaevka village.

In the Ulytau region, limitations apply to a 115-kilometer stretch of the “Zhezkazgan-Petropavlovsk” highway, extending from Ulytau village to the Kostanay region border.
