At the invitation of German Chancellor Olaf Scholz, Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev will visit Berlin on September 28-30 for a working visit, TuraNews.kz reports.
During his visit, Mirziyoyev is scheduled to hold bilateral negotiations with Scholz and German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier, as well as attend meetings of the heads of state of Central Asia and Germany.
Mirziyoyev is also expected to participate in business events organized by the Eastern Committee of the German Economy.
The agenda for the visit includes discussing the implementation of the agreements made during Mirziyoyev’s official visit to Germany in May 2023, as well as expanding investment, innovation, and technological cooperation with leading German companies and banks.
The visit is expected to further strengthen ties between Uzbekistan and Germany, and to promote cooperation in a range of important areas.
