Uzbekistan’s Most Expensive License Plate Sold for $74,000
The most expensive vehicle license plate in Uzbekistan in 2024 was sold for 965.3 million sums (approximately $74,300 USD).
According to the Uzbek Republican Commodity Raw Materials Exchange, sales of VIP license plates increased by 43.6% over the year. Last year, Uzbek citizens registered more than 195,000 expensive numbers through the “Avtoraqam” service.
97% of them belong to individuals, while the remaining 3% belong to companies and various organizations. The cheapest car number registered last year was 1.7 million sums ($131 USD).

Recently, the recycling fee for electric vehicles will increase in Uzbekistan.
