Uzbekistan to Reduce Train Speeds Due to Heat
Uztemiryulyulovchi has announced that train speeds in Uzbekistan will be reduced because of the hot weather, ensuring the safety of passengers and trains.
The company explained that the unusually high temperatures cause the railway tracks and their steel parts to heat up significantly.
“Train speed limits are set to ensure the safety of passengers and trains. As a result, trains may run behind schedule,” the official statement said.
It was also noted that these restrictions might affect the efficiency of the train cooling systems.
