Uzbekistan to launch tourist buses to Kazakhstan

A tourist bus will run between Turkestan city (Kazakhstan) and Nurafshan city (Uzbekistan), Turanews.kz reports citing the administrative center of the Tashkent region.

In addition, a draft itinerary for a five-day tour of the region for foreign tourists was developed.

The project will cover the districts of Bostonlyk, Parkent, Zangiata, Akhangaran, Chinaz districts and the city of Angren, which have a high tourism potential, and will be extended to other regions of the region in the future.

There are 59 travel agencies, 34 hotels, 907 family hotels in the Tashkent region.

Last year, the region was visited by 265 thousand foreign tourists and 1.5 million domestic tourists, and the export of services amounted to $79 million.
