Uzbekistan to Celebrate Eid al-Fitr on March 30
Uzbekistan will celebrate Eid al-Fitr on March 30, according to a presidential decree issued in the country.
The decree states: “Based on the information from the Muslim Board of Uzbekistan, the first day of Ramadan Eid falls on Sunday, March 30, 2025, and will be widely celebrated as a national holiday.”
In accordance with Article 208 of Uzbekistan’s Labor Code, since March 30 falls on a Sunday (a public holiday), the designated day off will be moved to Monday, March 31.
