
According to the State Committee on Statistics, the number of foreign tourists visiting the country during the first four months of the year soared by 146.1%, reaching around 3.1 million visitors.
This marks the highest influx in Central Asia. In 2024, over 8 million foreign travelers visited Uzbekistan, many staying for four or more days.
Kyrgyzstan topped the list with more than 942,000 visitors, followed by Tajikistan (793.9K) and Kazakhstan (617.2K). The surge in Kyrgyz tourists is linked to improved bilateral relations and relaxed border restrictions.
Tashkent, Samarkand, and Bukhara remain the most popular destinations among international travelers.
