
The procedure, conducted at the National Medical Center in Tashkent, employed the state-of-the-art neurosurgical robot “B Remebot”, agency UzA reported.
The robotic system allowed for the safe and precise extraction of brain tissue samples for analysis. Medical experts highlighted that “B Remebot” is not limited to biopsies — it can also help detect and remove brain tumors, treat epilepsy and Parkinson’s disease, and support complex neurological diagnoses.
This marks a significant step forward in the development of neurosurgery in Uzbekistan, offering new treatment possibilities for patients within the country.
