The government of Uzbekistan has opened a public discussion on the “Uzbekistan-2030” strategy, which outlines the country’s development goals for the next 7 years. The draft measures for the implementation of the strategy in 2023 are also available for public review, Turanews.kz reports.
The Uzbekistan-2030 strategy includes 100 goals in 5 areas:
- Education, healthcare, and social protection
- Economic growth
- Environmental protection
- A just and modern state
- Sovereignty and security
The draft measures for the implementation of the strategy in 2023 include deadlines and practical tasks for the performers, specific targets to be achieved, and a list of legal documents to be developed.
Citizens can participate in the discussion of the projects and send proposals that serve the development of the country to the regulation.gov.uz and 2030.strategy.uz portals.
The public discussion will continue until August 9, 2023.
