Uzbekistan imported 2.5 million tons of wheat from Kazakhstan

In January-November 2022, Uzbekistan purchased 2.5 million tons of wheat and 374.5 thousand tons of wheat flour from Kazakhstan, Turanews.kz reports citing the Uza.uz agency.

• Uzbekistan State Statistics Committee noted that along with wheat;
• Potatoes (155.1 thousand tons),
• Barley (98.9 thousand tons),
• Vegetable oil (81.7 thousand tons),
• Margarine products (40 thousand tons),
• Corn (37 thousand tons),
• Cattle meat (16 thousand tons),
• Dairy products (4.4 thousand tons),
• Confectionery (2.3 thousand tons),
• Cocoa and chocolate (1.6 thousand tons), they were imported from Kazakhstan.

In January-November, Uzbekistan imported food products from 109 countries in total 3.2 billion US dollars.
