On October 5, Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev met with Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov in Kazan, Russia, TuraNews.kz reports.
President Mirziyoyev expressed satisfaction with the high level of cooperation between Uzbekistan and Tatarstan in recent years. He noted that the two sides have made significant progress in a number of areas, including trade, investment, and cultural exchange.
The two leaders discussed ways to further strengthen cooperation between Uzbekistan and Tatarstan. They agreed to work together to increase trade and investment, promote joint projects in key sectors of the economy, and expand cultural and educational exchanges.
President Mirziyoyev’s visit to Tatarstan is part of his official visit to the Russian Federation. During his visit, he has also met with Russian President Vladimir Putin and other high-ranking Russian officials.
