Uzbek low-cost carrier launches flights to Kazakhstan

Uzbek low-cost airline company “My Freighter” launches flights to Kazakhstan, Turanews.kz reports citing the press service of the Civil Aviation Committee of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

“As part of the work to increase the number of international flights, as well as the implementation of the “open skies” regime, the Committee for Civil Aviation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, together with the aviation authorities of Uzbekistan, has worked out the issue of opening regular passenger flights by the Uzbek low-cost airline My Freighter (Centrum Air) to Kazakhstan,” the statement says.

According to the statement, “My Freighter” (Centrum Air) plans to start operating direct regular passenger flights on the Almaty-Tashkent route from June 5, 2023 with a frequency of 3 flights a week (Monday, Wednesday and Friday) on A-320 type aircraft.

An increase in the number of flights between Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan will contribute to the further development of trade, economic, tourism and cultural cooperation between the countries, as well as increase competition and reduce the cost of air tickets.
