US ready to help further improve qualifications of English language teachers in Uzbekistan

on February 28, the US Secretary of State visited Uzbekistan. During the trip, Antony Blinken also paid a visit to the Uzbekistan State World Languages University and met with a group of students who are learning English on the basis of the Access program.

“Inspired by the students in Uzbekistan who are learning English and have big plans for their futures. We’re proud to support them with $25 million+ for English education to date, working to train 15,000 English teachers, and providing 10,000 schools with language textbooks.” he shared on his account on Twitter.
