Unified National Anthem for Turkic States in Progress

Work is underway to compose a unified anthem representing Turkic states, reflecting the rich history and unique culture of Turkic peoples through its lyrics and music.

Erhan Özden, Chair of the Union of Arts Universities of Turkic States and Rector of Ankara University of Music and Fine Arts, made the announcement, according to Kibrispostasi.com.

Özden explained that the anthem is being created for ceremonial events and embodies the shared national and spiritual values of the Turkic nations. A team of experts is carefully crafting lyrics and music to ensure they are meaningful and understandable for all Turkic communities.

In addition to the anthem, efforts are being made to develop an encyclopedic dictionary of Turkic states. This dictionary will compile artistic terms used across Turkic cultures, aiming to establish a unified terminology for the future. Divided into chapters for various branches of art, the dictionary will trace the origins of terms and their cultural significance.

The dictionary is expected to be completed within one to two years, while the anthem’s creation is anticipated to finish sooner.
