
Uzbek taekwondo athlete and two-time Olympic gold medalist Ulugbek Rashitov has been banned from competition for two years due to anti-doping rule violations, the International Testing Agency (ITA) has announced.
According to ITA, Rashitov committed three whereabouts failures in 2023 — a breach categorized as an Anti-Doping Rule Violation (ADRV).
The athlete did not dispute the charges and accepted the sanctions. His suspension is effective from May 13, 2025, to May 12, 2027.
