Two earthquakes jolt South Kyrgyzstan

Two earthquakes shook the south of Kyrgyzstan on July 30, according to the Institute of Seismology of the National Academy of Sciences of the country, Turanews.kz reports.

The first earthquake occurred in the Jalal-Abad region at 16:20 local time. The epicenter of the earthquake was located in the Suzak region, and the tremors were felt in the villages of Arkyt and Kyzyl-Kul. The magnitude of the earthquake was 3 points.

The second earthquake occurred in the Osh region at 17:08 local time. The epicenter of the earthquake was located in the Kara-Kuldzha district, and the tremors were felt in the village of Sary-Bulak. The magnitude of the earthquake was also 3 points.

There were no casualties or damage reported from either earthquake.
