TURKSOY Room Unveiled at Kazakhstan Culture and Trade Center in Istanbul

A new TURKSOY room was inaugurated at the Kazakhstan Culture and Trade Center in Istanbul, with a ceremony attended by notable figures including Bakıtjan Omar, Kazakhstan's TURKSOY representative, Merey Mukazhan, Deputy Secretary General of the Organization of Turkic States, Daniyar Aliyev, Head of the Almaty Culture Directorate, and members of the local Kazakh diaspora alongside Turkish scholars.

During the opening, Bakıtjan Omar conveyed greetings from TURKSOY Secretary General Sultan Raev, emphasizing TURKSOY’s commitment to fostering cultural unity among Turkic nations. He highlighted the organization’s ongoing efforts to promote the shared civilization and culture of the Turkic World to a global audience.

Omar stated, “As the TURKSOY organization, we have organized thousands of cultural events worldwide. We have prepared major projects in many cities, including Istanbul. Now we will organize important events in this new liaison office.”

Merey Mukazhan also addressed the audience, reflecting on the activities undertaken by TÜRKSOY to date and underscoring its significant role within the Turkic community.

The ceremony concluded with a group photo, marking a significant step in enhancing cultural collaboration within the Turkic World.
