Turkmenistan’s President Pardons 321 Prisoners on the Occasion of Laylat al-Qadr
On March 21, Turkmenistan’s President Serdar Berdimukhamedov held a digital-format Cabinet meeting, addressing key national issues.

According to Turkmenportal, during the meeting, Secretary of the State Security Council and Chairman of the Presidential Commission on Citizenship and Pardons, Begench Gundogdyev, presented a report on the commission’s work in honor of the sacred Laylat al-Qadr (Gadyr Gijesi) night.
Following the report, President Berdimukhamedov, upholding the tradition of mercy, signed a decree pardoning 321 citizens serving prison sentences.
Turkmen President instructed the commission chairman to coordinate with law enforcement agencies to ensure the timely release of those pardoned and their return to their families.
