The proposal was made during a visit by a Turkmen parliamentary delegation to Ankara, led by Speaker Dunyagozel Gulmanova.
Both sides emphasized that inter-parliamentary cooperation strengthens interstate relations, while parliamentary friendship groups facilitate legislative experience exchange and enhance parliamentary diplomacy.
TurkPA is an international organization comprising Kazakhstan, Türkiye, Azerbaijan, and Kyrgyzstan.
Earlier, the 13th General Assembly of TurkPA took place in Baku, with a Kazakh delegation led by Mazhilis Speaker Yerlan Koshanov in attendance.
