This prestigious title, along with the golden order “Altyn Ay,” has been awarded to Babayev in recognition of his invaluable contributions to the sculptural art of Turkmenistan and his years of dedicated creative work. As a member of the Union of Artists of Turkmenistan and an independent artist, Babayev is best known for creating the monumental statue of Makhtumkuli Fragi, which was unveiled in the presence of numerous world leaders.
In a congratulatory message regarding Babayev’s new title, Rayev, the Secretary General of TURKSOY, expressed heartfelt gratitude for the artist’s significant contributions to the culture and civilization of the Turkic world, highlighting the importance of his work at various important events and international conferences.
