According to Reuters, the necessary legislation has already been submitted for deliberation. However, Fuat Oktay, the head of the Foreign Affairs Commission of the Turkish Parliament, cautioned against anticipating a swift decision. Speaking to reporters, Oktay clarified that the timeline for the General Assembly’s vote would be determined by the Speaker of the General Assembly, emphasizing the need for a measured approach to the deliberation process.
