Türkiye exported 5,913 tons of honey worth $22.88 million during the first nine months of this year, according to the East Black Sea Exporters Association.
The honey was sold to 49 countries, with the United States, Germany, and Canada being the top buyers. Exports to the U.S. reached $9.33 million, while Germany accounted for $5.29 million, and Canada $904,700.
Additionally, Turkish honey saw new markets this year, being exported to countries such as Hungary, Bangladesh, Iraq, Liberia, the Czech Republic, Morocco, Nepal, and Equatorial Guinea, a development not seen during the same period last year.
