The Turkish Football Federation has applied to host Euro 2028 or Euro 2032, while the Italian Football Federation is bidding for the right to host the European Championship in 2032.
Thus, Türkiye will compete with Great Britain and Ireland, which have submitted a joint application to host Euro 2028, and in case of defeat, it will compete with the Italians in the battle for the right to host the next continental championship in four years.
The UEFA administration will review each of the applications over the next couple of months, and in October the Executive Committee will vote on which lucky countries will be eligible to host the 2028 and 2032 championships.
