Türkiye and Kazakhstan Commit to Strengthening Strategic Partnership

On September 6, Kazakhstan and Türkiye held bilateral political consultations, led by Deputy Foreign Ministers Alibek Bakayev of Kazakhstan and Nuh Yilmaz of Türkiye.

The discussions covered a wide range of areas, focusing on deepening cooperation in trade, economics, investment, and culture. Türkiye expressed particular interest in investing in major agricultural projects in Kazakhstan.

The delegations also explored opportunities to boost collaboration in science, education, IT, and medicine.

They exchanged views on international and regional issues and reviewed preparations for high-level bilateral events planned for 2024.

Both sides reaffirmed their commitment to enhancing cooperation within the Organization of Turkic States, emphasizing the importance of using existing frameworks to achieve the organization’s goals. The consultations concluded with an agreement to continue deepening the strategic partnership between Kazakhstan and Türkiye, which is rooted in strong, fraternal ties.
