Türkiye Aims to Boost Battery Production

The Minister of Industry and Technology of the Republic of Türkiye, Mehmet Fatih Kajir, embarked on a  visit to battery production facilities in Zhengjiang, China, TuraNews.kz reports.

Expressing ambitious goals, Minister Kajir conveyed the desire to elevate battery production in Türkiye to a prominent status at the earliest opportunity. The Ministry’s statement highlighted Minister Kajir’s tour of the battery production facilities in Zhengjiang, China.

Kajir underscored the crucial role of Türkiye in becoming a center for battery production to establish itself as a hub for electric vehicle manufacturing. He emphasized, “Our aspiration is to attract numerous investors, similar to Farasis, to choose Türkiye in the near future. We aim for a swift increase in our battery production capacity in Türkiye to reach a significant level.” This move aligns with Türkiye’s vision to play a pivotal role in the rapidly evolving electric vehicle industry.
