Turkish YDA Holding Plans to Expand Investments in Kazakhstan

Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan, Alibek Kuantyrov, met with Huseyin Arslan, Chairman of YDA Holding, at the offices of JSC NC Kazakh Invest to discuss the Turkish company’s plans to broaden its investment activities in Kazakhstan.

During the meeting, Huseyin Arslan highlighted the strategic significance of the Middle Corridor and the growing role of the Trans-Caspian International Transport Route in the current global landscape. He also underscored the importance of developing local production to support Kazakhstan’s agriculture sector and expressed YDA Holding’s interest in projects within the agro-industrial complex and the transport and logistics sectors.

Deputy Minister Kuantyrov noted the long-standing partnership between Kazakhstan and Türkiye and emphasized YDA Holding’s successful track record in the country. He assured support for the company’s initiatives, including assistance with investment agreements and coordination with relevant government agencies to ensure smooth project implementation.

YDA Holding, a diversified construction group, operates in 12 countries with a project portfolio valued at $10.2 billion. Active in Kazakhstan since 2002, the company has completed three major projects worth $320 million, including the construction of international airports in Aktau and Turkestan and the YDA Industrial Park in the Astana-Technopolis Special Economic Zone.

Currently, YDA Holding is working on three additional projects in Kazakhstan, with a combined value of approximately $1.35 billion, reflecting its commitment to strengthening its presence in the region.
