Foreign Minister of Türkiye Hakan Fidan, currently on an official visit to the capital of Kyrgyzstan, Bishkek, met with President Sadyr Japarov. The press service of the President of Kyrgyzstan stated that the discussions also touched upon the scheduled official visit of President Recep Tayyip Erdogan to Kyrgyzstan. Additionally, they deliberated on the upcoming meeting of the High-Level Strategic Cooperation Council set to take place in Bishkek.
President Japarov expressed satisfaction with the positive momentum observed in the broad spectrum of cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and Türkiye. Notably, the leaders discussed the significance of the forthcoming Kyrgyz-Turkish intergovernmental commission meeting in Ankara, particularly in supporting the economic agenda and strengthening trade and economic ties.
In response, Minister Fidan extended gratitude to President Japarov for the warm welcome and acknowledged the substantial achievements resulting from collaborative efforts between the two nations’ leaders.
The meeting concluded with President Japarov conveying his best wishes to Turkish President Erdogan, emphasizing the friendly and cooperative relations between Kyrgyzstan and Türkiye.
