Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan Explores Cultural Sites in Kashgar, China
As part of his visit to the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region of China, Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan recently embarked on a tour of cultural landmarks in the city of Kashgar. Among his stops were the tomb of Yusuf Has Najib and the Iydgah Mosque, both of which hold significant historical and cultural importance.
The Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs shared details of Minister Fidan’s visit through a publication on the social network X. According to the report, Minister Fidan took the time to pay his respects at the tomb of Yusuf Khas Najib and explore the architectural and cultural wonders of the Idgah Mosque, a cherished site within Kashgar.
This excursion was part of Minister Fidan’s broader efforts to engage with the cultural heritage of the region and strengthen ties between Türkiye and the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region.
