Turkish Foreign Minister arrives in Astana on visit

Hakan Fidan, the Foreign Minister of the Republic of Türkiye, arrived in Kazakhstan on Monday at the invitation of Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Murat Nurtleu. This is the first visit of the Turkish Foreign Minister to Kazakhstan, Turanews.kz reports.

During his visit, Fidan met with Nurtleu to discuss bilateral relations, regional and international issues.

In a statement, the Turkish Foreign Ministry said that the visit was “a continuation of the close and friendly relations between Türkiye and Kazakhstan.” The ministry said that the two countries “agreed to further strengthen their cooperation in all areas.”

Fidan is scheduled to leave Kazakhstan on Tuesday.
