Since January 1, a total of 1,151 terrorists have been eliminated, with 521 of them in Iraq and 630 in northern Syria.
Zeki Akturk, the Press and Public Relations Advisor to the Turkish Ministry of National Defense, announced these figures at a recent press conference.
He highlighted the continued efforts of the Turkish Armed Forces to combat various threats with increasing intensity as part of their defense and security strategy.
Akturk also mentioned that one PKK terrorist, who escaped from northern Iraq, surrendered at the Khabur border post this week.
