Turkish Companies Eye New Investment Projects in Kazakhstan
Kazakhstan’s Foreign Minister meets with Turkish business leaders in Istanbul

On April 17, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan Murat Nurtleu held talks in Istanbul with executives from two major Turkish companies — Orzax and Alarko Holding — to discuss the implementation of investment projects in Kazakhstan.
The discussions centered on developing Kazakhstan’s agro-industrial sector and food industry. Nurtleu emphasized the country’s commitment to expanding trade and economic ties with Türkiye and increasing direct investment in strategic sectors.
Yunus Emre Alimoğlu, CEO of Orzax, shared progress on a project to produce dietary supplements in the Turkistan region, noting that state support has helped the project stay on schedule.
Izzet Garih, Chairman of Alarko Holding, reported on the construction of a modern greenhouse complex in Shymkent and expressed confidence in the project’s successful completion and the company’s long-term plans in Kazakhstan.
Both sides reaffirmed their intent to strengthen investment partnerships and expand cooperation in promising new sectors.
