Turkish Anadolujet made the first direct flight to Tashkent
The first aircraft or AnadoluJet make to their the first Ankara-Tashkent flight, was welcomed with a ceremony in Tashkent, the capital of Uzbekistan.
Turkish low-cost airline Anadolujet (a subsidiary of Turkish Airlines – THY) made the first direct flight to Tashkent, Turanews.kz reports citing Anadolu Agency.
The plane left from Ankara landed at the Tashkent airport at 04:10 local time.
The passengers of the Ankara-Tashkent flight were greeted with applause, the pilots and crew of the aircraft were presented with flowers.
The meeting was attended by the head of the Civil Aviation Department of Uzbekistan Takhir Nazarov, Turkish Ambassador to Tashkent Olgan Bekar, and THY representative in Tashkent Selim Kahryman.
