Trump’s Approval Rating Falls to Record Low

U.S. President Donald Trump’s approval rating has dropped to its lowest point since his inauguration on January 20, 2025, according to a joint Reuters–Ipsos poll conducted between November 14 and 17.
Only 38% of respondents said they approve of Trump’s performance as president, while 60% expressed disapproval — the worst rating of his current term. In January, his approval stood at 47%, and until now it had never fallen below 40%. Compared with the previous survey earlier in November, Trump’s approval slipped by another two percentage points.
Researchers note that Americans are increasingly dissatisfied with rising living costs and with the way the investigation into the Jeffrey Epstein case — involving allegations of sexual abuse of minors — is being handled.
This decline follows another sharp drop in October, when Trump’s approval fell to 40%, and the share of those who disapproved climbed to 57%.
