TRNC sent 100 heavy machinery and trucks to the earthquake zone
100 heavy construction machines and trucks set out from the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) to be used in search and rescue activities in the region affected by the Kahramanmaras-centered earthquakes.
100 vehicles, consisting of cranes, excavators, buckets, dozers, trucks, trucks, oil and water tankers belonging to 5 municipalities, public and private companies and business people in the TRNC, were loaded on the ship from Famagusta Port and departed for Iskenderun Port.
The ship is expected to arrive at Iskenderun Port at noon today.
In a statement to journalists in Famagusta, Prime Minister Ünal Üstel said that after the construction equipment reaches İskenderun, they will participate in search and rescue efforts in the provinces affected by the earthquake under the coordination of the Disaster and Emergency Management Presidency (AFAD), “We are in full solidarity with Türkiye.” said.
