TRNC President Ersin Tatar recently engaged in a one-on-one meeting with Kyrgyz President Sadyr Caparov, followed by a joint delegation dinner, during which Tatar shared his insights with the press.
Describing the meeting as warm, President Tatar highlighted that the discussions covered various aspects, ranging from the Cyprus problem and its current status to the international challenges faced by Cyprus. Tatar emphasized the injustices faced by Cyprus and presented the reasons and justifications behind the two-state solution policy.
During the meeting, President Tatar expressed the success of his visit to Kyrgyzstan, labeling it as ‘very successful.’ He noted that requests were made for increased support from Kyrgyzstan.
President Tatar underscored that President Caparov, having visited the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) years ago, possesses a deep understanding of the Cyprus issue and is well-aware of the challenges faced by the Turkish Cypriots.
Accompanying President Tatar at the delegation dinner with President Caparov, TRNC Minister of Public Works and Transport Erhan Arıklı shared a photo from the meeting on his social media account.
