Transportation Volumes Grow on the Trans-Caspian International Transport Route

The Trans-Caspian International Transport Route is increasing its annual freight capacity by 6 million tons.

In the first 11 months of this year, freight transportation volumes rose by 63%, reaching 4.1 million tons, while container shipments increased 2.6 times.

This year also saw the launch of the Coordination Center for the Trans-Caspian Transport Corridor, aimed at developing infrastructure and expanding the route’s functionality. The new platform enhances the route’s competitiveness, reducing delivery times between Europe and Asia to as little as 15 days.

Key participants in the project include Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Türkiye, and China, along with leading companies from these countries.
