Tashkent hosted a high-level meeting of trade ministers from Central Asian nations and Azerbaijan. Kazakhstan was represented by Minister of Trade and Integration Arman Shakkaliyev.
In his remarks, the minister noted that Astana and Tashkent have become key drivers of regional trade. He emphasized that ensuring future growth will require the creation of joint production facilities, accelerated digital integration, and the development of transport corridors.
During the meeting, participants discussed opportunities to deepen trade and investment cooperation, expand industrial collaboration, and strengthen logistics systems.
At the conclusion of the event, the trade and investment ministers of Central Asian countries and Azerbaijan signed a joint communiqué.
