Touristic Eastern Express started its new season flights in Turkiye

Touristic East Express has started its first flight from Ankara Train Station this season and it will carry 13,760 passengers on 86 train services in the 2022-2023 period.

The Touristic Eastern Express which took off on its first journey on May 29, 2019, attracted great interest from passengers, carried out 62 flights in the 2021-2022 period and carried a total of 13 thousand 544 passengers.

Consisting of dining and sleeping wagons, the Touristic Eastern Express provides the opportunity to see important historical and cultural cities on the Ankara-Kars line as a concept.

This year, the Touristic East Express will operate from Ankara between 12 December 2022 and 20 March 2023, and from Kars between 14 December 2022 and 22 March 2023. The express will depart from Ankara on Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and from Kars on Wednesday, Friday and Sunday.

The 1300-kilometer Ankara-Kars destination’s ride time is 31 hours and the Kars-Ankara destination’s ride time is being completed in 30 hours.
