Total of 172 schools in Kyrgyzstan are closed due to quarantine

In Kyrgyzstan 172 educational institutions are closed for quarantine due to the epidemiological situation in the 2022-2023 academic year, Kabar.kg reports.

In the statement of the Ministry of Education of Republic of Kyrgyzstan, 32 schools in Chui region, 111 in Talas region, 3 in Issyk-Kul region, 6 in Jalal-Abad region, 12 in Osh and 8 in Bishkek city are closed due to quarantine.

During quarantine time lessons will be provided as online.

On the basis of the order of the Ministry of Health, schools and kindergartens that have been issued a conclusion on quarantine closure by the local center for sanitary and epidemiological supervision will be transferred to quarantine.

There are 2357 educational institutions across the country.
