TIKA: the Symposium Brings Turkish and Uzbek Businessmen Together

With the support of the Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TIKA), the New Horizons Symposium on the Development of Türkiye-Uzbekistan Economic Cooperation was held in Uzbekistan.

In cooperation with the Economic Research Foundation and the Uzbekistan Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the New Horizons Symposium on the Development of Economic Cooperation between Turkey and Uzbekistan was held on November 24, 2022 in Tashkent, the capital of Uzbekistan, with the support of TIKA.

Türkiye Deputy Minister of Trade Sezai Ucarmak, Türkiye’s Ambasador to Tashkent Dr. Olgan Bekar, Uzbekistan Ministry of Foreign Trade Turkey Desk General Manager Azizbek Salahaddinov, Isparta Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ITSO) Assembly President Ethem Erkan Kader, Uzbekistan Chamber of Commerce and Industry President Davron Vakhabov, TIKA Tashkent Coordinator Cemalettin Tuney and many business people, have attented to the symposium.

Within the scope of the symposium, presentations were made on Türkiye’s economic profile and potential cooperation opportunities with Uzbekistan, the present and future place of the foreign trade potential between the two countries, new investment areas of Turkish companies in Uzbekistan and prominent sectors.
