TIKA delivers food and clothing aid to earthquake areas
The Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TİKA) has delivered food and clothing aid to the earthquake-affected areas.
TIKA contuines to help efforts after the earthquakes that affected 10 provinces, the epicenter of which is Kahramanmaras city.
The agency has started working from the first day of the earthquake and prepared food packages and clothing boxes consisting of 11 trucks to be delivered to the earthquake areas.
The trucks carrying basic necessities such as food supplies, adult and children’s clothes, blankets and heaters for earthquake victims in the region, especially in Kahramanmaras, Hatay, Malatya and Adıyaman, reached the region.
With the food materials delivered to the region by TIKA, hot meals will also be distributed in the soup kitchens established in Malatya and Kahramanmaras.
TIKA will continue to provide assistance in coordination with the official institutions of the state in line with the needs and demands.
