TIKA continues its support for the development of Kyrgyzstan
Opening its first overseas office in Kyrgyzstan in 1993, TIKA not only strengthens the existing infrastructure of the country with more than 1000 projects at the end of 30 years, but also supports the training of qualified human resources with the training of journalists, doctors, diplomats and police officers.

We continue development-oriented projects in Kyrgyzstan
TIKA Bishkek Program Coordinator Osman Usta noted that since the independence of Kyrgyzstan as TIKA we are investing in human resources and their main focus was development-oriented projects.
Referring to the importance of the dissemination activities of Türkiye’s Turkic language which attracts great attention in Kyrgyzstan, Usta stated that Türkiye Turkish Education Center (TÖMER) teachers have established training centers in the cities of Bishkek, Osh, Talas, Celalabad, Batken, Karakol and Narin cities.
Listing the projects to support vocational education, Usta noted that they established an open mini football field in the No. 3 Vocational Technical High School in Bishkek and renovated the auto repair workshop and equipped it with the necessary equipment.
Students grow plants in the greenhouse established by TIKA
Upon the request of the Faculty of Agriculture of Kyrgyzstan-Türkiye Manas University (KTMU), operating in the capital Bishkek, a greenhouse installation project was implemented on an area of 1000 square meters on the university campus.
KTMU Faculty of Agriculture Dean Prof. Dr. Atilla Dursun noted that the students of the faculty have the opportunity to study, practice and research on various plants and they grow vegetables which they can consume.
“The vegetables such as tomatoes, peppers, cucumbers, eggplant, lettuce, arugula, collard greens, broccoli, onions, leeks and spinach grown by the students of the Faculty of Agriculture are being used in the university cafeteria.” Dean Dursun said.
Noting that it was extremely beneficial to bring the greenhouse to Kyrgyzstan-Türkiye Manas University, Dursun stated that they also provide vegetable support to orphanages in need from time to time.
Emphasizing that TIKA functions as a bridge between Kyrgyzstan and Türkiye, Usta emphasized that Kyrgyzstan will be more prosperous in the future with its existing human treasury.

Students can easily find a job after finishing the courses
Shaybek Bilalov a director of the Vocational Technical High School affiliated to the Ministry of Education and Science of Kyrgyzstan, he stated that since 1942 year that High School established, they had many graduates from various professionalty such as software engineering, mechanical engineering, energy engineering, turners, welders and printing presses.
Bilalov noted that the students who take practical lessons in the auto repair workshop equipped by TIKA can easily find a job, “70 percent of the lessons in our high school are practical and 30 percent are theoretical. TIKA has implemented two important projects in our high school. TİKA established an open mini football field and auto “He remodeled the repair shop and equipped it with the necessary equipment. There is even an auto key programming device and an electronic battery tester in the workshop. We are very grateful to them.” he said.
