the President of the Turkic Academy met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic

On March 29, in Bishkek, the President of the Turkic Academy, Shahin Mustafayev, met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic, Jeenbek Kulubayev, Turanews.kz reports citing the Press Service of the Academy.

During the meeting, general issues of interaction between academic institutions of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Turkic Academy, the current activities of the organization, as well as planned events for 2023 were discussed.

The President of the Turkic Academy breifed the Minister about conclusion of the 6th meeting of the Scientific Council of the Academy, by the Turkic Academy together with the Ministry of Education and Science of the Kyrgyz Republic on March 28 this year in Bishkek. In addition, he reported on the ongoing work of the Turkic Academy and on the events planned for the future dedicated to the Turkic history and culture, as well as on the scientific projects of the organization.

In turn, J. Kulubayev noted that the work of the Academy should be aimed at strengthening friendly relations between the Turkic states, developing integration processes in the fields of education, science and technologies, expanding opportunities for young people to receive high-quality modern education, and also for teachers and scientists to develop scientific contacts and promote effective cooperation in scientific, technical and cultural areas.

At the end of the meeting, the Parties expressed mutual interest in further interaction and cooperation through the Turkic Academy.
