The President of the Turkic Academy met with the Minister of Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan
On January 26, the President of the Turkic Academy Shahin Mustafayev met with the Minister of Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan Gani Beisembaev.
At the meeting, the parties discussed issues of cooperation in the system of secondary education in the Turkic world, and exchanged views on priority areas of the educational process.
At the meeting, Sh. Mustafayev shared his views on the active teaching of the textbooks “General Turkic History”, “General Turkic Literature” and “Geography of the Turkic World” in school curricula, which were adopted at the V meeting of the Scientific Council of the Turkic Academy last year in Astana.
In turn, G. Beisembaev dwelled on the priority areas in the education system, noted the importance of growing the younger generation, understanding the deep common history and strengthening family ties between the Turkic countries.
In this regard, the Minister gave a positive assessment of the work of the Academy in this direction and expressed support for its future initiatives.
At the end of the meeting, Sh. Mustafayev presented to the Minister of Education the works published by the Turkic Academy within the framework of the 150th anniversary of the famous educator Akhmet Baitursynuly.
