The ninth meeting of the OST Council of Foreign Ministers was held in Samarkand

Ninth Meeting of Council of Foreign Minister of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) was held in Samarkand, Uzbekistan. Foreign Ministers carried out the final work on the agenda items and the documents to be signed by the Heads of State.

Participants exchanged ideas in order to expand regional and international cooperation in line with the organization. In addition, they discussed the document drafts planned to be signed at the OTS Summit to be held in Samarkand on November 11.

The parties noted the importance of mutual relations in the fields of trade and economy. In this context, opportunities to develop bilateral and multilateral cooperation between Turkish States in the fuel, energy, transportation, communication and industry sectors were discussed at the meeting.
